The Merci Cardigan is a beautiful, timeless cardigan with that little extra something. The cardigan is as light as a feather, soft, and comfortable to wear, thanks to the yarn. The cardigan has a wide and cropped fit, while it is easily adjusted. As a result, the cardigan gets a desired length. Knitted from the top down, back and forth in stockinette stitch, with a beautiful lace pattern on the front. Stitches are first increased for the body, then for the sleeves, thus giving the cardigan a great fit. Then you work raglan increases. Shape the cardigan using the German short rows technique making it longer in the back, giving it a comfortable fit. The sleeves have a bit of a wide/ straight shape, and are knitted straight down, creating little balloon sleeves.
