Rendezvous Sweater is knitted from the top down, starting with a neckband in 1x1 rib followed by the yoke, which is knitted following a chart. Afterwards, the sleeve stitches are placed to rest while the body is knitted in stockinette stitch. You can try on the sweater before the bottom ribbing is knitted, so that you can knit the sweater to exactly the length you want. The sleeves are then knitted one at a time, and all the cast-offs are done in pattern. Finally, all the loose ends are woven in, and the sweater is washed and blocked for a beautiful, soft result. See our tips at @plystreknitwear on Instagram for suggestions for embroidering your sweater, for an extra-decorated sweater! Knit your own mini tote! The Plystre Mini Tote is knitted top down on a circular needle. Create the delicate top with a folding hem for the 3 stitch i-cord. You work in the round in stockinette stitch until you are almost out of yarn, making sure you have enough yarn to seamlessly close the bottom with kitchener stitch / grafting. Two i-cords are made separately, and then pulled through the hoops in the folding edge on the top, making the tote functional. -

The Merci Cardigan is a beautiful, timeless cardigan with that little extra something. The cardigan is as light as a feather, soft, and comfortable to wear, thanks to the yarn. The cardigan has a wide and cropped fit, while it is easily adjusted. As a result, the cardigan gets a desired length. Knitted from the top down, back and forth in stockinette stitch, with a beautiful lace pattern on the front. Stitches are first increased for the body, then for the sleeves, thus giving the cardigan a great fit. Then you work raglan increases. Shape the cardigan using the German short rows technique making it longer in the back, giving it a comfortable fit. The sleeves have a bit of a wide/ straight shape, and are knitted straight down, creating little balloon sleeves. Sagveien Cushion The Sagveien cushion is knitted in the round on circular needles, from the bottom up. It is closed at the top using grafting, a technique with a seamless result. The cables are easily created without a cable needle in this yarn; see the video of how we do this at @plystreco. At the top you graft the cushion together, which gives a beautiful and tidy finish. You can choose to sew snaps into the bottom, but we chose to omit this because the cushion stays in good shape with regular airing out. Spot-clean as needed. Remember to knit a gauge swatch before you start to get the right size! This pattern is in English.Cushion size 40 x 40 cm [15.7 x 15.7 in] Gauge In cable pattern 20/10 cm In stockinette stitch 16/10 cm Suggested needles 5 mm [US 8] circular needles (80 or 100 cm) Materials 200 g Filcolana Peruvian Highland Wool Other One inner pillow, size 40 x 40 cm Snaps, if you want a removable pillow cover

The 3 Days Cardigan was originally knitted in 3 days, as I desperately needed a cardigan for a wedding – hence the name. So it is possible to knit the cardigan in three days, however not recommended unless it is an outfit related emergency. 3 Days Cardigan is a slightly oversized, yet classic cardigan with a deep and elegant v-neck shaping. The cardigan is knitted bottom up. An I-cord edge is knitted for a neat and feminine finishing along the sleeves and the button bands.

summerknits Rendezvous Top
The Rendezvous Top is a beautiful summer top with a lace pattern on the yoke, knitted in a lovely summer yarn. It is knitted from the top down, with circular yoke increases included in the chart. You might have seen the Rendezvous Sweater before, which was created for the book Modern Embroidery On Knitwear and Other Clothing, and we have now created a lighter summer version of the sweater. The fun lace pattern is almost addicting, so the top almost knits itself. If you want to add a little something extra, you can embroider on some beautiful summer flowers! You can either go for a soft, neutral color, or go for a bright color such as cobalt blue, coral, or a statement green, which gives a really fresh detail to the summer top.Bust circumference- measure yourself before you choose your size 84 (92) 97 (101) 112 (121) 130 (142) cm Length, measured mid-back 51 (53) 55 (57) 58 (62) 63 (63) cm Gauge 20 stitches/10 cm on 4 mm needles Suggested needles 3 mm circular needle (40 cm) 4 mm circular needle (40 and 80 cm) Yarn Sandnes Garn Line Yarn amount 300 (300) 350 (350) 400 (400) 450 (500) g Yarn alternatives Sandnes Garn Duo, Un-told Cotton Merino, Pickles Sommerull Remember to check your gauge, and that the meterage can vary in other yarns.About the pattern The Rendezvous Top is knitted from the top down, so you begin with the neckband, and the yoke is formed according to a chart. Afterwards, the sleeve stitches are put to rest while the body is knitted in stockinette stitch. We recommend to use the Italian cast-off method or another elastic cast-off on the body, which will give you a comfortable result for a summer top, since cotton yarn can often cause the cast-off edge to be tight when the normal cast-off method is used. Finally the sleeves are knitted, one at a time. -
